Registered Nurse Vascular Access (RN) - Full Time Nights

Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231

Work hours: Full Time Nights variable (7p-7a) for 36 hrs./week. Rotating weekends and holidays

Vascular Access Department Highlights

  • Joining a small team that is very efficient, teamwork oriented and high functioning.
  • Positively engaged to allow for the best patient experience.
  • Collaborating with staff and providers to serve as a resource regarding appropriate line placement and care.

Here’s What You Need

  • Nursing Diploma required
  • Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program required
  • BSN preferred
  • One-year experience as a registered nurse, or completion of an RN residency program required
  • Excellent IV skills, one year in acute care setting
  • Excellent communication skills, experience in port access, PICC lines, and dressing changes are a plus and preferred
  • RN Registered Nurse Upon Hire Req And
  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
  • ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire preferred
