RN (registered Nurse)-Intensive Care Unit (ICU)--PRN Nights (7P-7A)

WORK LOCATION: Texas Health Allen--1105 N Central Expy, Allen, TX 75013

WORK HOURS: PRN II Nights 7P-7A, requirement of minimum 3 shifts/6 weeks; including weekend and holiday requirements

  • Scheduling by requests, bedside staff participate in formulating the schedule with the oversite of the manager.

What You Will Need

  • Diploma of Nursing OR Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
  • BSN preferred.
  • One-year experience as a registered nurse in an ICU setting required
  • Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire.
  • Three (3) years recent ICU experience preferred. RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator and coordinator for quality patient care
  • RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required; Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire.
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support -required prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
