Job Summary
As Nursing Manager, level 2 RN, you shape a positive team environment, ensure high-quality nursing practices, teamwork, and patient safety. You create plans, implement policies, manage resources, oversee finances, and manage quality improvement efforts. Arrange educational programs to meet goals and act as caregiver when needed.

Formulate and communicate a clear vision for nursing practices within your area of responsibility.
Involve supervisory and other staff in setting and accomplishing departmental goals.
Continually update your knowledge base with the latest evidence-backed clinical and leadership practices.
Foster a healing and supportive environment for patients, families, and fellow staff members.
Recognize development needs and facilitate educational opportunities for staff members.
Set a positive example of professionalism within the nursing field and work atmosphere.
Incorporate the organization's mission and goals into strategies for staff and patient care.

LOCATION: Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas, Texas
SPECIALTY/DEPARTMENT: Emergency Department
SHIFT/SCHEDULE: Full time, M-F, including working with the night and weekend shifts
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.
A minimum of three years' professional experience is required for this role.
RN licensed.
You also need Basic Life Support certification within the first 30 days on the job.
